Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I’m based in West Sussex, England, and currently cover England, Scotland and Wales. My quote will reflect the travel and time your booking requires.
I’d like to request a song that isn’t in your repertoire - is this ok?
Yes, I’ll be happy to learn one request for your ceremony, or if you book me for your first dance. Please let us know your request one month ahead of your day.
Can I choose the songs for my ceremony?
Yes, you can choose any of the songs from my repertoire, plus a request.
Can I choose the songs for my drinks reception/wedding breakfast?
Unfortunately not. You can let us know up-to five songs you’d prefer I didn’t sing - your first dance song, for example. Please rest assured my set will have something for everyone to enjoy, reflecting the atmosphere on the day.
When will you arrive?
My ETA is always 2 hours before I’m due to start, to allow plenty of time to liaise with the venue and other suppliers, get setup and changed.
Where will you setup?
I usually setup at the top of the aisle (where you’ll be with your celebrant/registrar), off to one side, to not get in the way of photos etc. If you’d like me to setup elsewhere, just let us know in advance. For drinks receptions, I can move from the ceremony quickly, setup somewhere suitable and be performing again within 15 minutes. My setup is compact so I can even move quickly if the weather changes and we need to head inside!
How much space do you need?
A minimum of 1.5 x 2 metres
Do you have your own sound system?
Yes, I have my own equipment which is included in the price.
Do you have a PAT certificate and public liability insurance?
Yes, these can be sent to you if your venue request copies.
What do you need on the day?
- Two chairs
- Access to one plug socket (although I can run on battery power if outside with no access to power)
- Soft drinks/water
Do you require a meal?
Not if I’m playing for your wedding ceremony and drinks reception only. If I’m staying/starting later for your wedding breakfast onwards, a hot meal for us both would be much appreciated.
